Friday the 13th, part 2

Congratulations to our very first Kindergarten graduate grandchild! Micah, we are extremely proud of you!  Micah sang beautifully, and sat so patiently (with just a little tassel-twirling during the boring moments).

There were only four senior Kindergarten students in Micah's class, so the graduating group was a very little group made up of two demure girls and two crazy boys.  Which reminds me that recently Micah and I read the poem "What are little boys and girls made of?" - Micah thought it was hilarious that girls are made of "sugar and spice and everything nice", while boys are made of "frogs and snails and puppy dog tails". But I think that this photo proves the point, don't you?

Micah's teacher Anita is amazing! Her love for these kids is so real, so visible, and so tangibly expressed. Thank you, Anita, for your patience, gentleness and wisdom in caring for these little lives that mean so much to us!

Micah and his teacher on this beautiful and most memorable day.

Growing up so fast!

Thank you for the kind words. These are great pictures. I am so blessed to be a part of the lives of the children God places in my classroom. I am always sorry to see the kids go. I will miss your cheerful smile in my classroom Micah. Have a great summer being a boy full of frogs, snails and puppy dog tails. Love Mrs. Bull
