Brilliant student, beautiful bride. Catarina's wedding was spectacular.

Close-knit families, strong traditions, ancient settings. 

What a privilege to be there in the midst of it all.

This was the most child-friendly wedding I have ever attended. Besides the little flock of flower-children leading the procession down the aisle, there were so many child-friendly features at the reception(s): the inflatable slide in this picture, a pirate magician (and balloon artist), a gypsy make-up artist, tables and sitting area just for the kids (conveniently located next to the dessert table), balloons released into the sky, and finally - fireworks in the rain. The kids had a blast. The wedding was as much fun for them as it was for any of the rest of us. I loved that.


The reception was a never-ending flow of food and drink and good-will. The bride and groom spent the entire evening graciously attending to their 200+ guests.
