light in the darkness

The second day of the conference, I walked through the village of St. Sulpice, looking for this beautiful 12-century Romanesque church. Unlike the many cathedrals that we have visited throughout Europe, this old church was small, simple, and very dark inside. The camera worked beautifully despite the darkness, revealing much more than I was able to see without it. I was completely alone there. A special moment.
