Here's one reason to get a dog. If it weren't for Kazan, today would have been just another day to get things done around the house. Instead we crossed the road to Frontenac Provincial Park, and walked a good long trail with him. Glorious. He still hasn't recovered (he flaked out on the kitchen floor a couple of hours ago, and as far as I know, he hasn't moved since)! In the words of a song that Micah and Elizabeth find HILARIOUS - "Slow down, you move too fast. You've got to make the morning last. Just kicking down the cobblestones. Looking for fun, and feeling GROOVY!"

By the way, did anyone else notice that the white Pyrenees marking at Kazan's heart looks dove-shaped in this picture? I LOVE it!
yeah but i had to look again after you mentioned it.
i just love looking at all your photos...i get a taste of country while living in the city, the best of both worlds for me right now. Thanks
April
Hi April! So glad to hear from you!
sounds fun
Our Mindy had puppies eight weeks ago today. We're keeping one (Misty) but have sold the rest. They all left this weekend except Jack who'll go to HKI on Weds
seems quiet now except for the teens!
And I love walking the dog -but the puppy still flakes out after about 100m walking though runs for ages and ages inthe garden. Go figure
Hi Lorna, great to hear from you again, and to be reminded of our meeting a year ago! I just checked your blog - what beautiful puppies! All the best with your studies.
