Michaela and her little brother and their Mommy came to spend the last week and a half with us. Tomorrow they go home. How we will miss them all!



Sometimes I manage to capture something really special, like this moment of shared glee at Caitlin and Sharon's pug party. Michaela, Micah and Elizabeth could not believe their eyes - a backyard filled with Heidis and Beatrices. Was this the real Heidi, or one of her look-alikes?



On another visit to Micah and Elizabeth's house, Kazan provided the entertainment, coming back for more no matter how many times his playmates sprayed him with the hose! It has been said that if you provide Leonbergers with children and a wading pool, they are in heaven.

Seems it's true.

Kazan thoroughly enjoyed being one of the kids. Here he is on the very first day he was allowed to wade in the lake. He and Michaela had a grand old time exploring the water together.
