speaking of birthdays...

Elizabeth had her 2nd birthday in April. Micah will have his 4th birthday in September. Here they are enjoying their birthday gift from Grandma and Grandpa - a house of their very own! Last week Grandpa and Daddy worked for a whole day on this, and sadly, Grandma didn't think of taking a picture of the construction while it was in process! But here is the first professional testing of the "finished" product. Decorative details have already begun to be realised - see Micah and Elizabeth's blog to see the crazy things they've been up to! I hear that Grandma and Grandpa's little house is eventually going to be transformed into a playcastle - can't wait to see it! This whole experience has given us so many sentimental flashbacks to a Christmas many years ago - to a pink house, a workbench, and a wild and wonderful time in our lives.
