Micah and Elizabeth meeting Beowulf last weekend - the very beginning (just inside our front door) of a beautiful relationship!

All four kids figuring out how to play together.

Beowulf followed Micah as he tried out his brand new snowshoes.

While Beowulf welcomed a warm nap in his crate, the rest of us went for a snowshoe walk, boldly leaving our imprints on the pristine snow of the lake. Micah made this snow angel.

Beowulf's first babysitting day with Elizabeth

a study in perspectives - doesn't Beowulf look huge?

Cassie was such a sweet girl, trying to figure out how to be part of the action. I think these three are going to have lots of fun being a pack together.

Elizabeth informed me that these gloves made her hands puppy-proof - what a great idea!

When Micah came home from school, he and Elizabeth got Beowulf up from his nap with a kiss! Beowulf, you have brought so much love and joy into our lives - thank you, dear sweet puppy of ours!

I wish Heidi and Bea could join the pack too; too much size-ism in this world : )
Just kidding, I know my babies would get trampled by the big kids. We need to set a puppy play-date while Beowulf is still small enough to acknowledge the presence of tiny pugs.
