Nathanael Josh James. After eight long months of waiting, at last we are permitted to post his picture and announce his name! With our long wait in mind, I've decided to present our WONDERFUL memory-making month of August, from Nathanael's point of view. Here is Nathanael with his family on the day when his membership in our family became official - August 14th, 2007, eight months (to the day) after his arrival in his new home.

On Nathanael's adoption day, he and his family travelled from Montreal to Grandma and Grandpa's house for their summer holiday with us. Here he is looking at a picture of himself with his Mommy and Daddy and big sister Michaela, and at the pictures of all his uncles, aunts and cousins. Nathanael, you are such a blessing to us all, and we are so thankful for you.

All the grandchildren together in one place for the very first time - Micah, Elizabeth, Michaela, Jamie (behind Kazan), and Nathanael (on his Daddy's back)! Oh yes, and one more (guess where) - Grandbaby #6!!! A walk in the woods at Grandma and Grandpa's house - we have dreamed of this moment for years!

Kazan absolutely LOVED being surrounded by so many little ones!

Nathanael and Jamie are only one month apart in age, and have just begun to discover the joy of giving kisses. I happened to be lucky enough to capture this special moment!

Hmmm, how many guesses do I get before you break down and tell me?? :-)
I really like the picture of the kids stalking the elusive Banana Monster in its natural habitat.
That's so funny, Jeannie! I love that - the kids stalking the Banana Monster! Really fits the picture - would make a great caption worthy of the Far Side! And it is Josh and Heather who are expecting, so since Heather is in the picture, ALL six of our grandchildren are in this rare treasure of a photo! I actually ran after the safari group to get this picture, before finally acquiescing to Aaron's and Ron's request that I take advantage of a few moments of peace and quiet in our suddenly-sane house!
