erm were you in London? (was that the one in England or in Ontario btw)
Hi Lorna! Definitely London Ontario. We were talking recently about how many place names in Ontario come from England (notably Stratford, with its Avon River, and London with the Thames). We thought that it either reflects a dire lack of imagination, or an intense nostalgia. I think it's the latter. btw Lorna's comment reminds me of an All in the Family episode. Anyone remember it? Caitlin, I'm sure you do, but will you be the first to notice this little contest?

Well of course I know the reference to All in the Family. Archie accidentally sent a shipment to London England because "who ever heard of London Ontario?" and lost his Christmas bonus as a penalty. Goodness, give me a challenge!
