10 years packed into 2 days

Found out on Tuesday, moved on Thursday! All went amazingly well. Many thanks especially to some really terrific young people with willing hearts and strong arms.

Michaela found this teeny-tiny flower at her new home, and a teeny-tiny pot to put it in.



I got the easy job, hanging out with the kids most of the day. They were so much fun!




We didn't get home from Montreal until the wee hours of the morning. It's very peaceful and quiet here today, and I spent some time this morning watching the hummingbirds. I imagine, Jon and Cara, that you have not had much time to smell the roses today, but I hope that it won't be long before you are able to find the time for some well-earned rest. You have a lovely new home, and it was truly a delight to share in the excitement of your day!
