Introducing Kazan, my sweet little woof-dog. With gratitude to James Oliver Curwood for the name, and for the lifelong inspiration that I have received from his 1914 tale of a mighty wolf-dog with a great heart.

Thanks, all! And Heather, I'm glad to know that there was someone else (besides myself) rooting for that name all along!!! I don't think I knew how much I wanted that name until I searched and searched, only to discover that every other name just didn't come close to what Kazan meant to me.
